Re: Formula 1
That's all well and good, but it's easy to do 200 in a four-wheeled aerocycle with more downforce than horsepower. Bill Elliot was doing 225 in a Thunderbird that weighed more than every F1 car on this year's starting line. The only reason Dale Earnhardt started winning is because they put on restrictor plates to keep Bill Elliot from reversing the Earth's spin when accelerating out of turn 2 at Talladega.

I have no idea who Bill Elliot is. I can see from a web search that he and Dale Earnhardt were NASCAR drivers - I can't claim to know a lot about NASCAR.2046 wrote:That's all well and good, but it's easy to do 200 in a four-wheeled aerocycle with more downforce than horsepower. Eh, you're both bent. It's all about the 1320! REAL racers go in a straight line! I'd rather peruse the specs of a street sleeper running 10's on pump gas and street tires. Now THAT'S a racer car!
